As soon as we discovered we were having a girl, I began planning the nursery. I scoured design blogs, magazines, made idea boards and slowly collected, recycled, gathered, made, bought and designed every aspect. We decided to steer away from pink this time around and instead went with neutral, natural tones: white, cream, tan, green, yellow, orange. I found many things on Etsy, but when I couldn't find the exact bunting or mobile I wanted, I decided to make it myself. And it turns out that I'm craftier than I thought!

Gorgeous Lou! It's just as I had imagined. How on earth did you convince Jake to let you get the Mae tree though?! Good work!! Love it, Jess xx
ReplyDeleteOh and the mobile turned out great! Well done you crafty little thing! :)
ReplyDeleteWow a little different fron last time we were in that room. Looks great :-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful! Well done team Scout.
ReplyDeleteAmazing Lou - knew you had the craftiness in you! Mobile is awesome. I'm loving your neutral/natural colours and woodland theme, all really cute but not too princess frou frou, perfect for spunky Scout. Interested to know if you had reservations about finding out the sex of your baby? I'm totally divided on the issue! Did you find out with Sunny? Did you tell your mum or just absolutley nobody but you and Jake?
ReplyDeleteLooks fantastic! I love the colours. Hope Scout transitions nicely into it... why wouldn't she want to be in such a beautiful room!
ReplyDeleteLove Dynika
Her room is beautiful - you've done such a wonderful job!
